There have been some photos floating around Tumblr of Benedict at the Men In Black 3 premiere in New York, and I must say they're extremely adorable.

Agent B is in the house! )

We have to wait until July, but we get a lot of showings!

I plan to see version 2 on the 7th of July, and version 1 on the 14th of July.

Any Czech fans here? There will be encore screenings in Prague too, of both versions: on 18th June it will be with Benedict as the Creature and on the 25th with the reverse cast.
Tickets can be reserved here.
I'm from Hungary, but I'd like to watch it again. And this time I'd bring some friends too - last year I was the only Hungarian fan to travel to Prague... Is there anyone here who can speak Czech? There are some texts on the website of the cinema I'd like to have a reliable translation of. (Does it really say reserved tickets must be picked up at the cinema until the next Monday?)

Artist: Karadin
Title: Blue Phoenix (Sherlock after Reichenbach)
Rating: PG
Media: polymer clay, art print, antiqued silver chain and glass beads.

I created this artwork last year around the idea of 'The Empty House' with the phoenix symbolizing Sherlock's rise after the Fall, and made it into a necklace. :D

I don't know if that is too specific for this comm... please let me know.

I got an email from the Cinema in Munich telling me that they're showing Frankenstein twice because of the high demand:

14.06.2012 - 20:00 Uhr FRANKENSTEIN ENCORE (2) Cast: Benedikt Cumberbatch: Viktor Frankenstein | Jonny Lee Miller: Creature

28.06.2012 – 20:00 Uhr FRANKENSTEIN ENCORE (1) Cast: Jonny Lee Miller: Viktor Frankenstein | Benedikt Cumberbatch : Creature

The one on June 14th is almost sold out (there are nine seats in the front row left at the time I'm writing this), but tickets for the second one are available now.

I already have tickets for the 14th. Maybe I'll see some of you there?

Under the cut are three recent shots of Benedict at the beach. My first thought was to worry he wasn't wearing enough sunscreen as he tends to be rather pale (but not Conan O'Brien swimming with dolphins pale). He's put on some weight, doesn't look as thin as he did in Season 2 of Sherlock. Probably had to bulk up a little for Star Trek 2.

Perhaps a few people remember when, in 2010, Mark Gatiss posted on Twitter about a piece of Sherlock art that Benedict made for the very worthy charity the Willow Foundation. It, along with another 100 or more canvases went up for auction at the end of 2010, and due to a lack of impulse control and some very, very fortunate timing I attained it.

This is a little video I did when I finally got the piece framed. I just recently found it again on my computer a couple of nights ago, and decided to post it to Youtube. And so I thought I'd share it here as well :)

Note: cameos include my cat's butt.
Edit: please forgive/ignore the totally irritating quality of my voice :3

Sherlock Holmes and the mystery of the missing eight minutes

Article @ The Independent about those cuts in the US version. Goodness me, were there really 10,000 fans vying for 400 tickets? You guys are crazy over there! ;-)
