Radio Times
As people have been wondering when the new series of Sherlock might air, here's what the Radio Times has to say about it from today's Choices page:

As this return of the successful Sherlock series reaches its finale (8:30pm BBC1, BBC1 HD), a second series starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman is under way.
You may have to wait until the winter to see the three new feature-length stories, but if you're keen to see more you could try the unbroadcast hour-long pilot, A Study In Pink, which was subsequently reshot as the 90-minute opening episode of the first series. It's a juicy extra that comes with the Sherlock series 1 box set.

Though we know there's been no official release date yet, the RT usually have a pretty good track-record on that sort of thing (They're part of BBCWorldwide, if anyone's going to have a clue when BBC programs may appear, it's frequently them.)

The BBC announcer after tonight's repeat said 'next year' - ah well, it'll be a nice way to lift the January slump anyhow!

Yes Jan/Feb are usual miserable months so having some lovely Sherlock to keep us going will be nice.
