One of my favourite conductors, Nicholas Collon, was named by the Evening Standard as one of London's 1000 most influential people, in the Classical category. Upon looking at some of the other categories, I saw that Benedict Cumberbatch was named in the Theatre category :D

Benedict Cumberbatch
Actor
The gentlemanly Cumberbatch became a household name in the BBC's Sherlock - and should achieve an international reputation when Steven Spielberg's film of War Horse hits the screens. Passionate about theatre, and thrilled audiences this year in Frankenstein at the National, alternating between the title role and his monstrous creation.

Incidentally, also in the Theatre category were Thea Sharrock and Nick Hytner, with whom Benedict has worked.

P.S. I actually couldn't work out how to tag this so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be very grateful! It took so long for LJ to even load the posting page that I daren't take too long to think about it else this'll never get posted.
